Gracie was somewhat of a surprise to Michael. I collected him from the airport when he arrived for the Christmas Holidays and introduced him to the Christmas present I had bought for myself! A week earlier I went to look at Inez’s litter and fell in love with Gracie. After lengthy discussion with Lucia and the breeding committee to check on Grace’s suitability as a future partner to Krister, the deed was done and a little bundle of joy came home with me.
Gracie is living up to my expectations. She is my constant companion and appears to know my every move. She exhibits jealousy when my other dogs try to beat her to my lap but they must all take their turn, including Gracie!
Her first show was in Sweden where she was kindly taken and handled for me by Lucia as I had to go to England. To my delight Gracie was awarded Best of Breed and was well placed in the group. Since that first foray into the ring she has been shown in The Netherlands where she has acquitted herself very well and has National and International Certificates to her name.
In 2013 she won her fourth and qualifying Certificate and was awarded the title of Netherlands Champion.
She has a very happy personality and many, including judges, have remarked on the fact that she never stops wagging her tail!
I look forward to continued success with Gracie and hopefully a litter with Krister after her health tests have been concluded.
